Green Street’s community computer class is up and running. The goal is to give people a better understanding of Microsoft Office basics. The class is split into three sections of two weeks each, one for each Office program – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Our first two classes focus on Microsoft Word, the word processing program. Word provides a foundation for the other Office programs. ”I’m excited to go to work now, this is going to save me so much time,” was the response of one of our students after learning some of the features of Word.
If you are interested in learning the basics of Excel, the spreadsheet, those two classes will be June 24 and July 1 from 6-8pm. The classes build on each other so you should attend both.
The two classes for PowerPoint, the presentation program, will be July 15 and July 22 from 6-8pm.
